Prestigious Fellowships

Each year, approximately 35 to 40 of Notre Dame’s top doctoral students—among an entering class of about 250—are awarded one of the Graduate School’s prestigious fellowships. While criteria for each fellowship differ, all recognize outstanding performance in undergraduate studies as well as promise in graduate studies and professional life.

All students who are accepted into doctoral programs at Notre Dame will be considered automatically for these fellowships. Selection of Fellows is competitive and based on nominations from the admitting departments.
