The dual degree program in engineering and law is designed for law students who are interested in pursuing careers in areas such as patent, environmental, telecommunications, or similar law specialties. To be eligible for the master’s of engineering degree, the candidate must have a B.S. in an A.B.E.T. accredited engineering or computer science program and must also be a candidate for the juris doctor degree in the Notre Dame Law School. The master’s of engineering program is not available as an individual degree program.
Admission to the program requires a separate application to each school. Admissions decisions will be made independently by the Law School and by the Graduate School.
