New graduate student orientation

The Graduate Student Orientation & Information Fair is designed to help support incoming students’ transition to the graduate community at University of Notre Dame. Orientation will include booths of information on the various resources and services offered on campus, and a presentation by the dean of the Graduate School introducing new students to graduate studies. Refreshments will be served.

Orientation will take place on Friday, August 19th from 2:00-4:30pm in Jordan Hall of Science. Please pre-register by clicking here.

Department-specific orientation sessions will also take place. Please check with your department for information on these discipline-specific orientations.

Presentation

Beginning at 3:00pm, Gregory E. Sterling, dean of the Graduate School, Laura Carlson, the Graduate School’s associate dean for professional development, and Sam Rund, president of the GSU, will give a 45-minute presentation.
