International Student Orientation 2013 begins

Location: Jordan Hall of Science

International Student Orientation 2013 will take place from Tuesday, August 20 through Wednesday, August 21 in the Jordan Hall of Science.

International Student Orientation is required for all new F-1 and J-1 student visa holders and strongly encouraged for other new international students. On Tuesday, August 20, undergraduate and graduate students may register their immigration documents and complete a health history and tuberculosis screening in the Jordan Hall Atrium anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

The formal Orientation program will begin with lunch on Tuesday, August 20 at noon and conclude at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21. The primary goals of the program are to help new international students comply with their U.S. visa-related obligations, apprise them of Notre Dame’s support services and academic expectations, as well as introduce them to American culture. For more information about International Student Orientation and pre-arrival requirements for new international students, please visit the Notre Dame International website or contact issa@nd.edu.
