International Student Orientation 2013 will take place from Tuesday, August 20 through Wednesday, August 21 in the Jordan Hall of Science.
International Student Orientation is required for all new F-1 and J-1 student visa holders and strongly encouraged for other new international students. On Tuesday, August 20, undergraduate and graduate students may register their immigration documents and complete a health history and tuberculosis screening in the Jordan Hall Atrium anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The formal Orientation program will begin with lunch on Tuesday, August 20 at noon and conclude at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21. The primary goals of the program are to help new international students comply with their U.S. visa-related obligations, apprise them of Notre Dame’s support services and academic expectations, as well as introduce them to American culture. For more information about International Student Orientation and pre-arrival requirements for new international students, please visit the Notre Dame International website or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
