Scott Shackelford will explore the ways in which cybersecurity may be treated as a matter of corporate social responsibility, such as securing critical national infrastructure. The analogy of sustainable development will be discussed, focusing on the applicability of certain aspects of the green movement, such as integrated reporting and the common heritage of mankind concept, to help foster cyber peace. Scott Shackelford specializes in cybersecurity law and policy, sustainable development, and global commons governance. He is an Assistant Professor of Business Law and Ethics at Indiana University and is spending fall semester 2013 at the University of Notre Dame as a fellow with the Institute for Advanced Study.
