Fellowship Overview

The Kinesis-Fernández Richards Family Fellowship, made possible through the support of University trustee José Enrique Fernández '65, is intended to enhance diversity at Notre Dame by providing funding for U.S. citizens from Puerto Rico. Fellows are identified and nominated by their departments. Kinesis-Fernández fellows who are doctoral students receive a stipend from $34,875 to $42,000, according to program, on a 12-month basis for up to five years. Fellows in a master's program receive $20,000 annually. Tuition scholarship support varies by program, and is awarded by the program.
