Supported by the Midwest Catholic Graduate Schools (MCGS), a consortium of Catholic universities in the Midwest that have significant doctoral programs, the Inter-University Visitation Program helps students take advantage of courses or research opportunities offered by the other institutions in the consortium. The participating institutions are:

Course work taken as part of this program is not transfer work; it is viewed as in-residence credit. The student is enrolled in a degree program at the home university and makes financial arrangements there, but attends classes, on a short-term basis, at the host university. To qualify for participation in the program, a student must:

  • Be a degree-seeking graduate student at one of the four participating universities
  • Have completed at least one full-time semester at the home institution and be in good standing
  • Make application to visit one of the other three universities (No fee is assessed for this application.)

A student may seek approval for more than one visit at more than one institution, but no more than 9 credit hours within a total of 30 hours may be taken in the Inter-University Visitation Program.

  • Print out the form and sign it.
