Graduation / Graduate School Commencement Ceremony:
- Deadline for doctoral gown purchases: Feb. 22, 2008. Anyone who wishes to purchase (rather than rent) a doctoral gown for the May 2008 Commencement must place the order by February 22, 2008 to guarantee delivery in time for graduation. Orders may be placed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the requisition desk on the first floor of the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore. Gowns are custom-made for each person; the price is $950.00 plus tax, and payment is due at the time of order. If you have questions, please contact Janet at (574) 631-8495.
- The 2008 Graduate School Commencement ceremony will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, May 17, in the Joyce Athletics and Convocation Center. Unlimited guest seating will be available. More information will be linked from this page as it becomes available.
- The University's 2008 Commencement ceremony will take place Sunday, May 18, in the Joyce Athletics and Convocation Center. For more information, please refer to the Commencement section of the Registrar's website.
- The Graduate School will host an open house on the fifth floor of the Main Building from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, May 16. All graduate faculty, staff, graduating students, and their guests are invited to attend.
