Responsibilities and Ethics in the Conduct of Research

Monday, January 16, 2017
Location: 101 Debartolo Hall

This workshop fulfills the Graduate School’s three-hour ethics workshop requirement for graduation as well as the eight-hour Responsible Conduct of Research requirement.

Pre-registration for this workshop is required Walk-up registration will not be available.

Slides from the workshop are available on the Resource Links page.

Who needs to attend the RCR/Ethics Workshop?

All students currently supported by federal grants or who will potentially supported by a federal grant within their time at Notre Dame need to complete the RCR training. This means if your field of study is Engineering, Science, or Social Science, or if you plan to apply for an NSF or NIH grant, you need to attend.

Most Humanities students should attend the Research Integrity Series instead of the RCR/Ethics Workshop.
