What is your research about?

My program is Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity, and I'm interested in studying the gospels alongside other works of Jewish and Greco-Roman literature.

Do you live on- or off-campus?

On-campus, in Fischer Graduate Residences

To which Notre Dame clubs and/or research organizations do you belong?
  • Notebaert Fellows Club
  • Catholic Graduate Community
After you graduate, what are your career aspirations?

Teach at the university level.

How do you practice self-care after a long day at work?

On the weekends I usually meet friends for dinner/drinks, and after a long day of class I like to jog around the lakes on campus, chat with some friends in the library, or watch some Netflix.

Why did you choose Notre Dame

The most important reasons were the overall strength of the program, the good fit regarding my research interests and the faculty's, the excellent funding opportunities for research and travel, and the teaching formation that the university offers. Another big draw was the sense of community and collegiality within the theology department, which makes for a great overall experience with lots of support from peers and faculty.
