Program Handbook

The Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows program is a two-year service-through-teaching graduate program. ACE teachers earn a Master of Education (M.Ed.) while serving full-time as Catholic school teachers in one of 36 (Arch)dioceses across the United States. Upon completion of the program, participants are also eligible for teacher licensure in the state of Indiana in addition to their graduate degree.

Rooted in the pillars of professional teaching, community living, and spiritual growth, ACE Teaching Fellows prepares educators to integrate their faith, intellect, and vocation in service to the Church and the common good. Participants receive rigorous coursework and ongoing mentorship from M.Ed. faculty, practical classroom experience, and the support of an intentional faith community.

Since its founding in 1993, ACE has sent more than 2,000 teachers to partner schools nationwide, helping to strengthen Catholic schools while forming the next generation of educators committed to equity, excellence, and service.

Entry into the master of education (M.Ed.) program is contingent upon admission to the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows program.
