As it does every Commencement season, the Graduate School has honored three members of the University’s faculty and staff for their distinctive contributions to graduate education.
The Graduate School at the University of Notre Dame is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 Eli J. and Helen Shaheen Graduate School Awards.
The University of Notre Dame’s Graduate School recognized 344 master’s and 204 doctoral degree recipients and presented several awards during Commencement ceremonies Saturday (May 17) in the Compton Family Ice Arena. Kerry Ann Rockquemore, president and CEO of the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity, delivered the Commencement Address.
German philosophy student and research visitor Mareike Hauer has gained new insights on her work as a participant in Notre Dame’s Workshop on Ancient Philosophy.
The Graduate School’s 2014 Distinguished Alumna is Dr. Kerry Ann Rockquemore, who received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Notre Dame in 1999. Dr. Rockquemore will deliver the address at the Graduate School Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m., Compton Family Ice Arena.
