Graduate student's research contributes to discovery of mechanisms that may cause catheter-associated fungal infections
A team of Notre Dame scientists, including graduate student and Schmitt Fellow Alyssa La Bella, have discovered the mechanisms by which the fungal pathogen Candida albicans may form infections on urinary catheters.
