Elkhart, Indiana
What were you doing prior to enrolling at Notre Dame?
I was at the University of Mississippi getting my MA in English; prior to that, I was a car dealer in Texas.
What obstacles did you overcome to attend Notre Dame?
I had to find a suitable housing situation for myself and my family (2 boys, a 5 year old and an infant); I also had to choose to move over 1,000 miles from our family in TX.

Disability studies in 17th century British literature

What do you like to do in your spare time for fun? What hobbies do you enjoy?
Outdoors, golf, basketball, watching sports, playing instruments

Spend time with my family, play music, watch sports

Work as a professor of English at a university
