Four seasons of Notre Dame

 

The application for Our Futures Weekend 2024 is now closed.

 

The University of Notre Dame is hosting an inaugural Our Futures Weekend February 22–25, 2024. This graduate recruitment event will bring highly talented and driven undergraduates who have been historically underrepresented in higher education to our beautiful South Bend, IN campus.

The Our Futures event is targeted at select undergraduate students from around the nation who are in their third through final years of their undergraduate studies.

Participants' travel expenses to and from Notre Dame and lodging and meals during the event will all be arranged for and covered by the University.

During Our Futures Weekend, participants will:

  • Learn about Notre Dame’s advanced degree programs offered through the Graduate School

  • Visit their academic area of interest to tour facilities and interact with faculty, staff, and potential future mentors

  • Hear directly from the Graduate School’s admissions team on navigating the graduate application process

  • Discover available financial resource

  • Make connections with other driven peers who share similar interests and goals

  • Engage with Notre Dame alumni from historically underrepresented groups who are currently pursuing graduate work at Notre Dame or elsewhere

  • Network with and hear from current Notre Dame graduate students about their research and experience

  • Experience the University’s history and traditions

Notre Dame Graduate School Degrees

Master’s and doctoral degrees are offered in the following colleges and schools. Most doctoral programs admit students primarily to the Ph.D. program, although a master’s degree may be earned on the way to the Ph.D. in some fields. More information on the degrees available from each are on the Graduate School website or the individual college or school website.

Program Information

  • Schedule of Events (subject to change, participants will learn more upon acceptance into the program)

  • Application deadline: Priority deadline Friday, January 19, 2024; followed by rolling admission until slots are filled

  • Application status notification: Priority deadline applicants will be notified by Monday, January 22, 2024; other applicants will be notified on a case-by-case basis until slots are filled

  • Travel arrangements to and from South Bend, IN will be handled by Anthony Travel

  • Shuttle transportation will be available between the South Bend International Airport and the Notre Dame campus.
