Description of the Award
The Distinguished Graduate Alumni Award is given annually to Graduate School alumni of the University who have distinguished themselves in scholarly or research pursuits, in the community, or in society at large.
The recipient will attend the Graduate School Awards Reception and Commencement ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must have received either a master’s or Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School at the University of Notre Dame and made a distinctive contribution to his or her field, or community, or to society at large with a discernible connection to her or his graduate program at Notre Dame.
Nomination Procedure
Nominations may be submitted by faculty members, department chairs, and directors of graduate studies. Please submit the name of the nominee along with a) a concise statement that describes why this alumna/alumnus deserves to be recognized and what makes him/her distinguished; and b) an updated CV if possible and/or a link to a website with information about the candidate. If a list of your past graduates would assist in your selection, let us know and we will furnish it to you. Nominations should be submitted here.
Selection Committee
The selection committee will be the Graduate Studies Leadership Committee.
