Notre Dame ranked among top schools for graduate studies in entrepreneurship
The University of Notre Dame has been ranked as the No. 15 top graduate school for entrepreneurship by The Princeton Review as part of its annual “Top 50 Undergraduate and Top 50 Graduate Schools for Entrepreneurship Studies” rankings. While the University’s ESTEEM Graduate Program, a one-year professional master’s degree conferring a Master of Science in Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship, is the primary driver behind this distinction, the University’s total entrepreneurial profile also includes programming and course work offerings from the Mendoza College of Business and the Keough School of Global Affairs.
The 2023 rankings were announced by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine on Nov. 15. The rankings are based on data from the publication’s annual survey of more than 300 colleges and universities that offer entrepreneurship studies and programs.

Dr. Dasari learned firsthand the delicate dance of partnering with resources on campus, including the Graduate School’s Office of Grants and Fellowships. On August 15–18, 2022, the University of Notre Dame Press and the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development Graduate Career Services hosted the first ever Publishing Boot Camp for graduate students in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. The intensive, four-day program was held in the Hesburgh Library and provided a rigorous program, hands-on activities, and guidance from publishing professionals to enable grad students to explore career options beyond the faculty track in scholarly publishing.
Tom and Molly Duffey endow program for student career development in Keough School
Tom and Molly Duffey of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, have made a $5 million gift to create and endow a new student career development program in the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. The Duffey Career Development Program will prepare graduate and undergraduate students to compete successfully for professional opportunities and positions that require the skills and knowledge acquired in their Keough School and Notre Dame education.

Doctoral student Sean Murphy awarded NIH Fellow Transition Award
Sean Murphy, a rising fifth-year graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame, has received a prestigious Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Only around 24 predoctoral to postdoctoral fellow transition awards (F99/K00) are awarded each year by the National Cancer Institute, a branch of the National Institutes of Health.
