Notre Dame researcher’s paper examines the biology and clinical application of tumor-derived microvesicles

A new paper by "Crislyn D’Souza-Schorey":http://newsinfo.nd.edu/for-the-media/nd-experts/faculty/crislyn-d-souza-schorey/, professor of "biological sciences":http://biology.nd.edu/ at the University of Notre Dame, discusses the biology of tumor-derived microvesicles and their clinical application as circulating biomarkers. Microvesicles are membrane-bound sacs released by tumor cells and can be detected in the body fluids of cancer patients.

Alumnus Chris Roberts Named Dean of Engineering at Auburn

Christopher B. Roberts, department chair and the George E. and Dorothy Stafford Uthlaut Professor of Chemical Engineering in Auburn University's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, has been named dean of the college effective July 1, 2012. Roberts earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Notre Dame in 1994 and a master's in the same program two years earlier.

Creative Writing M.F.A. Student Betsy Cornwell Signs Book Deal

Student Spotlight: Katherine Ward, Ph.D. Biochemistry, ESTEEM

Sociology Graduate Students Build an Outstanding Publication Record
